Ms. McCoppin is Vice President and General Counsel for BlackBrush℠. Prior to coming to BlackBrush℠ in 2005, she held that title for Florida Gas Transmission Company, for whom she worked for 12 years. She has also worked for several other major interstate gas pipelines, including Texas Eastern, Tennessee Gas, Northern Natural, and Transwestern, holding various legal positions. Dorothy has practiced law for 30 years, with most of her experience being in the federal-regulated oil and gas industry, specifically FERC-regulated, natural gas interstate pipeline systems. Her experience includes contract, rate and certificate, litigation, rulemaking, financing, bankruptcy, environmental, enforcement, and compliance and training matters. She has also had experience in municipal law, and was in private practice for several years. Ms. McCoppin has a B.A. from Rice University, Houston, a J.D. from the University of Houston, and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Mr. Norville has worked in the development and exploration business for 26 years in Texas. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Mr. Norville’s experience includes both field and management work in both South and East Texas during his career. Mr. Norville held the position of District Geologist for Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. until 1985. From 1985-1998 Mr. Norville was the Exploration Manager for a small independent oil and gas exploration company, Stallion Oil Company, where he supervised and ran all of the field operations and business operations of the San Antonio office. Most recently he was the Vice President of Exploration for Kerns Petroleum, Inc. of San Antonio where he managed the exploration and development of the Olmos and San Miguel formation for the company from 1998-2005. He has also been active in the AAPG and local geologic society where he was President of the South Texas Geological Society from 2000-2001. Mr. Norville’s area of expertise includes field exploitation, production evaluation and development planning for new exploration plays.

Eric Friedrichs has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career at the Houston headquarters of Coastal Oil & Gas reporting Federal royalties to the Minerals Management Service. In 1997, he joined Lewis Energy Group as the Controller of their Exploration & Production subsidiary, Segundo Navarro. In 1998, he assumed the role of Corporate Controller for Lewis Energy and held that position until 2000. From 2000 until 2004, Mr. Friedrichs worked as a contract Controller for a variety of clients, including a production equipment manufacturer and reseller, a large interstate pipeline company and several exploration and production companies. During this time he assisted with various special projects which included the sale of a service company to a large publicly held entity, a large fixed asset tracking system, and undertook preparations for taking a company public. In 2004, he helped form BlackBrush Oil and Gas and acted as its Corporate Controller until 2007 at which time he was promoted to Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Friedrichs holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters in International Relations and Economics from St. Mary’s University.

Mr. Liddell has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and business strategy. He began his career in 2001 as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bear Stearns where he worked on a variety of corporate finance transactions including equity, convertible and high yield transactions as well as sell-side advisory services. In 2003, Mr. Liddell joined the Strategy and Business Development team of FedEx Kinko’s where he led two key post merger integration teams and provided strategic analysis for FedEx Kinko’s executive management team. Mr. Liddell also served as a Senior Manager in FedEx Kinko’s Field Operations and Product Management teams. In 2006, Mr. Liddell rejoined Bear Stearns as an Investment Banking Associate in the Natural Resources group where he focused on advising clients in the exploration and production, midstream, oilfield services and refining sectors. In 2008. Mr. Liddell joined BlackBrush Oil & Gas as Director of Business Development. Mr. Liddell received his B.B.A in Finance with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and also served in the US Army.
